About me

I am a garden and landscape designer, gardener, allotmenteer and garden illustrator. After graduating from the Inchbald School of Design with distinction in 2017 I was employed at a London interior design and architecture company working on large country gardens in the UK and abroad. I now have my own practice in Brighton taking on projects large and small across the South East.

I have a strong design background having worked in graphic and web design for 12 years prior to retraining in garden design and my designs are based on good proportions, geometry and balance.

Horticulture has always been part of my life, this began growing up on my parents organic smallholding in Kent and I continue to grow fruit and veg today on my allotment plot in Brighton, now in it’s 6th year. I am a firm believer in hands on experience and take every opportunity to get involved with the planting of my designs. I also regularly volunteer at Borde Hill Garden in Haywards Heath working directly with the gardeners.

I take inspiration for my designs from the natural landscape around me, both at home and abroad, and I am lucky enough to live close to the South Downs here in Brighton. I regularly take long walks to enjoy the rolling hills and sea views and to be in nature. Forging a strong connection with nature is what I hope to achieve for the people I design for.

“The lesson I have thoroughly learnt, and wish to pass on to others, is to know the enduring happiness that the love of a garden gives. - Gertrude Jekyll”
